Chloe North

Chloe's past experience is in fishery management consultancy and sustainable seafood certification. She has worked on the sustainability of diverse fisheries around the world, such as Peruvian anchoveta, tuna fisheries using Fish Aggregation Devices, and the West African fishmeal industry. She has also worked as outreach to the UK and Irish fishing industry for the Marine Stewardship Council.

Harry Owen

Harry is a fisheries management professional with a good knowledge and understanding of fishing policy, fisheries science, and management, and a Master’s Marine Environmental Management from the University of York. He has over 10 years experiance working in the fisheries and seafood industries and set up one of the UK’s first dedicated fishing gear recycling schemes. Prior to working at the WFPO he was a Fisheries Consultant, worked in seafood sourcing and sustainability, and on board fishing vessels as an at-sea Observer.

Mark Greet

Mark is the Managing Director of Falfish. Falfish is a Cornish family business established in 1979 and are a key buyer and processor of fish and shellfish in the southwest.

Passmore Fishing Ltd

Passmore Fishing Ltd is owned by a fifth-generation fishing family, with Russell Passmore ex-skipper managing the vessels, and his son Alex expanding the business into a fully integrated shellfish fishing and processing firm. Passmore Fishing has three vessels, two scallopers and a whelk potter. More Seafood Ltd is the processing arm of the business, based in Paignton, Devon and exporting shellfish around the world.

Paul Stone

Paul is the owner and skipper of the Emily J. Paul is a third-generation Devon fisherman. The Emily J is a scalloper and trawler, run as a father and son business, with both men fishing alongside longstanding crewman Tom Leather.

Waterdance Ltd

Waterdance is a family-owned fishing company, born when a coastal farming family bought their first fishing vessel in 1957. Starting with a 12ft potter, it has grown into one of the biggest fleets in the South West, with over 20 vessels in Devon and Cornwall. The beam-trawl vessels and whelk potting vessels in the Waterdance fleet are in the WFPO.

Waterdance is part of the Greendale Group and supplies the Greendale Farmshop.
